ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 28, 2024) – The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) announces a historic partnership with youth travel basketball powerhouse, the West Coast-based ALL IN organization. The partnership will see basketball visionary, Ryan Silver, lead the AAU into a new era as its newly appointed West Coast Director of AAU Boys’ Basketball. The collaboration is expected to bring more than 15,000 new athletes to the AAU over the next two years.
“AAU is synonymous with youth basketball,” said Jo Mirza, AAU President. “Teaming up with Ryan Silver and the ALL IN group offers immediate growth for the AAU organization. Ryan's legendary work ethic, influence and extensive networking skills will bring thousands of new athletes to the AAU and an increased level of respect in the basketball community.”
Silver is one of the most highly respected youth basketball leaders in the country. Founder of the iconic West Coast Elite Basketball and West Coast Elite Under Armour clubs, he has made an indelible mark on basketball for the past two decades. Currently, Silver directs more than 100 club teams on the west coast and has the top program in the Under Armor UAA Circuit.

Silver’s innovative approach to player development, including securing millions of dollars in college scholarships for his players, coupled with his exceptional success on the court offers the AAU a unique opportunity to expand its footprint on the west coast and across the country.
“Excited to work with President Mirza and Jim Fox to help grow the game as the new managing director of the AAU in the western United States,” said Ryan Silver, AAU Boys’ Basketball West Coast Director. “The AAU is the largest youth organization in the world with a million members and a 135 year plus tradition.”
