Women's Basketball Hall of Fame and The AAU
The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) will soon partner up for a new exhibit at the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. The display will recognize the AAU’s vital role in advancing the development of women’s and girls’ basketball in the United States. The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame is designed to celebrate the past, present and future champions of the sport and the AAU will be a major part of the celebration. A Note From Host, Visit Knoxville!
We are thrilled to welcome the 2022 AAU Girls Basketball All-American Games this June! This tournament will be June 24th - 26th and all games will be played at the beautiful Knoxville Convention Center and the newly renovated World’s Fair Exhibition Hall directly across the street. Both of these venues are located at the center of Downtown and within walking distance to a variety of hotels and over 75 restaurants within a square mile. Knoxville, Tennessee loves sports and is proud to host such a great event this summer. We wish each and every team the best of luck and know everyone playing and attending will really enjoy our city!

Registration Information
Please double-check which divisions your team is eligible to play in by referencing the AAU Girls’ Basketball Eligibility. The AAU National Office and Eligibility Committee reserve the right to move teams to appropriate divisions if it is determined ineligible athletes are listed on the roster.
How to register your team(s) online:

Click here to register your team(s) — you will be directed to our AAU event registration system

Click "Register" and then sign in to an existing account or click "Create Team Account" then enter Team(s) and Coach information

Select team(s) using the check box, or click "Add Team", and scroll down to select registration information. Be sure to click correct division for each corresponding team!

At the bottom of the registration screen you may enter a discount code, if applicable (*see below for discount codes) — please be aware the discount codes are CAP-sensitive. Please note the AAU reserves the right to amend your event fee or request further payment based on whether your team(s) meets the required discount tiers listed below.

Things to note prior to the event
Update your registered team's roster with your AAU memebership numbers and Club Code using Play Hoops Tournament Connect - click here to login. This is the same system you used to register and pay the event fee.
Each team must possess an Eligibility Book which will contain:

Copy of each athlete's birth certificate (or state-issued ID)

Copy of each athlete's proof of grade (Grade-Based divisions only, i.e. 3rd, 4th, 5th - 12th)
Team Check-In Hours:

Coach(es) must check-in team two (2) hours prior to the team's first scheduled game. Any coach listed on the team roster can check-in the team at registration. All coaches will need to show photo ID prior to sitting on the bench during competition. Athletes do not need to be present at registration.
